  • What are the two types of Dealer Licenses available?

    There are two main types of dealer licenses:

    • Wholesale Dealer License: This license allows you to buy and sell vehicles at wholesale prices, but only to other licensed dealers.

    • Retail Dealer License: This license allows you to sell vehicles directly to the public. It also includes the ability to offer financing and warranty services.

    Additionally, there is an Auto Broker Endorsement, which allows dealers to work as intermediaries between buyers and sellers without holding inventory.

  • Is the training conducted online or in-person?

    The training is conducted entirely online, allowing you to complete it at your own pace.

  • Do you offer the course in multiple languages?

  • Is it possible to obtain a Dealer License in California without owning a lot?

    Yes, you can obtain a Dealer License in California without owning a lot.

    • Wholesale Dealer License only requires a home office or garage.

    • Failing to disclose a prior felony conviction could result in a lifetime ban from obtaining a license.
